About Me

Gorillazen: Growing up in Winnipeg, Brian Gasenzer had the opportunity to experience many walks of life. Living in various neighbourhoods, Brian always fought hard to keep his head above water. After walking a path that landed him in juvenile detention centers and various institutions for the majority of his teenage years and into adulthood, Brian turned his attention to his spirituality and artwork. The following years he continued to wrestle with the universe, as he broadened his artistic horizons. Evolving and transforming he looked inwards, focusing his will solely on mastery of self, and expanding his wisdom of the craft. It is 2012 and Brian has multiple aerosol/acrylic mixed media murals popping up all around the city. Brian looks to travel the world in order to experience and gain energy that he can bring back to our city and beautify the Winnipeg that we know with universal colour composition.
